Yoga is a mind-body relaxation, which is the opposite of stress.  The practice combines YOGA poses WITH breathing, and relaxation. That is why Yoga helps to reduce stress!

Try this easy routine into your busy schedule. The practice will take just 15 minutes.  
Practice it after your work to let go, ease out, calm down, and to relax.

Four Yoga Poses to Release StressBalasana

Child’s pose or Balasana: Alleviates stress and anxiety; Calms the mind and body
Stay for a minute or two.

Supta Baddha Konasana

Supta Baddha Konasana: It decreases stress in the nervous system. Stimulates the heart and improves blood circulation.  Stay for a minute or two. 


Viparita Karani


Viparita Karani or Legs on the Wall:  It relieves tired leg muscles.  It is super calming for the nervous system. It helps to quiet the mind.  Stay for a minute or two.

Shavasana or Corpse Pose:  It helps reduce blood pressure, anxiety, and insomnia.  It brings a deep state of rest, which helps to repair tissues and cells, and in releasing stress out.  Relax in this pose for minimum 8-10 minutes.
