Your votes will add 10 years to my life : CM Badal


Eighty-eight years old Punjab’s CM Parkash Singh Badal addressed the people during his Sangat Darshan at Karamgarh village in his home turf Lambi to make an emotional connect. He appealed to the public that kindly vote for him as this will give him another chance to serve the public of Punjab also this victory will add 10 years to his life.
Badal is amongst the oldest serving politicians in India  and this time he stood in election for his sixth term as a chief minister. During the interaction with the media Badal termed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s claim regarding the understanding between Congress and SAD “a bunch of lies.”

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of ‘Sangat Darshan’ programme in Lambi assembly segment here today, the Chief Minister alleged that Kejriwal was not even aware of the basics of agriculture and village life of the state.

He described PPCC chief captain Amarinder Singh as “king of palaces” he also said that Amarinder is least worried about the welfare of the public and would deprive the people of Punjab from subsides and services the SAD-BJP government is providing.

On the resignation of Navjot Kaur Sidhu he said “ She resigned from the party for her own personal reasons. However any leader who backstabs his party loses credibility amongst people.”
