Technology to stop drug smuggling from Pak:Rijiju
Union Minister for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju said that the government would going to adopt the technological measures to stop the smuggling of drugs from Pakisthan. He also said that a pilot project has started to stop the smuggling task the West boarder which would be completed by next three months.Surveillance across the boarder would make sure that it is safe and free from smuggling of drugs across the boarder.
Rijiju was there to lay the foundation stone of seventh campus of NDRF battalion.Earlier, the NDRF was operating from Bathina but battalion is spread across 51 acres in Ludhiana, it will provide a relief in the case of any natural calamity in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that NDRF has become the one of the best forces to deal with disasters internationally. Referring to Pathankot Air Base attack, he said that apart from the four terrorist that has died in the attack, charge sheet has also been filed against those who were in Pakisthan.He also said that India would put pressure on the Pakisthan government to extradition against that four.
