Following a cash sting and an unceremonious sacking of Succha Singh Chhotepur as its Punjab convener on Friday, there have been reports of reconciliation of Chhotepur with the party on Tuesday.

While he is reported to have said no to any reconciliation for the time being, AAP Punjab affairs in charge Sanjay Singh is said to have told Chhotepur that “all his demands were acceptable”, following their meeting at former’s Mohali residence on Monday night.

“Chhotepur is still a member of AAP”, said Sanjay, on the sidelines of a press conference on Tuesday. Despite the misgivings of the Chhotepur camp, the party is hopeful of winning him back. “It might take some time but we will find a way out”, said a senior AAP leader.
