Khalistani Terrorists jailbreak the life of an innocent; Women shot dead
After the rattling Nabha Jailbreak, unfortunately, a 24-year-old woman who was a member of a dance troupe was killed Three hours after the incident. It happened in the process of police open fire after the driver of her vehicle went past two police pickets but didn’t stop despite cops signalling at the vehicle. The tragedy occurred 60 km from Nabha central jail.
Other than Neha, a motorcycle rider and a car passenger were also injured in the firing.
The wife of the motorcyclist said the cops, who were in a Scorpio with a blue beacon, even turned down her request for taking her husband to hospital. She said some locals tried to stop the cops from trying to escape after the firing.
The dancer, Neha Sharma, who is survived by her mother and two brothers, was on the way to perform at a wedding function in Patiala along with four other women of the troupe.
She died on the spot after a bullet hit her chest. She was the only breadwinner of her family and was to get married next year. Her father had died 15 years ago.
Head constable Shamsher Singh Shera has been booked for murder for firing at the vehicle.
Police said the driver of the vehicle tried to run past two checkpoints manned by Patiala cops near Dharmeri village. “Only when he tried to go past the second checkpoint did the policemen fire at the vehicle. Police had no option as the state was on high alert,” said a senior cop.
