India wins the fifth ODI by 190 runs to clinch series against New Zealand
It was clinical win for India under Dhoni leadership beating New Zealand comprehensively. India can thank Amit Mishra for his excellent bowling taking 5 wickets to bowl out New Zealand on 79 Runs. Batting first, India made 269 runs thanks to fine half centuries by Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli and some classic slogging by Kedar Jadhav and Axar Patel.
Then on a slow pitch where boundaries were hard to come by it was all about Indian bowlers. They did a complete demolition job, led by Amit Mishra’s 6-2-18-5. His efforts have forced New Zealand to be all out for 79, their lowest total against India in ODIs.
