A very rugged game with no real cohesion in the midfield. India should thank their luck and their Goalkeeper Akash for taking this game home 2-1.

Both Indian goals were scored by Rupinder Pal Singh via Penalty corners.

India played the last 11 minutes with one player less. Malaysia played their heart out and were clearly dominating the field in the second half.

With this win, india tops the table with 13 points and will play the fourth placed team that likely to be South Korea or Pakistan.
