Harry Baweja to direct Son Harman in Jaita | Teaser
Filmmaker Harry Baweja previously introduced his son Harman Baweja in debut film ‘Love Story 2050’, that did not do so well on Box office. He is once again directing his son in a movie on a brave and interesting character from Sikh History.
“We are working on another film. Apart from Harman, the rest of the cast is not decided yet. It is a live action film called ‘Jaita’. “The film is about Jaita, the person who carried the head of Guru Teg Bahadur to Anandpur Sahib after he was beheaded at Chandni Chowk. It will be in cinemas by next summer,” Harry told media.
Harman, who made his debut in 2008, also starred in films like Victory, What’s Your Raashee?, and It’s My Life. He was last seen in a Sanamjit Singh Talwar’s film Dishkiyaoon. None of them were superhit and Harman remains of the sidelines of stardom.
When asked, if Harman would follow his steps to direct in future, Harry said “Its completely his choice, but as an actor he will be seen soon”.
Harry baweja met the SGPC leaders along with Akal Takhat Sahib Jathedar Bhai Gurbhachan Singh Ji during the release of teaser poster of punjabi movie Jaita and saw another recent (animation) movie of Sikh History- Chaar Sahibzaade Rise of Banda Singh Bahadur.
Harry also said that also revealed about the third sequel ‘Guru Teg Bahadur – Char Sahibzadey 3’ is also under production and slated to be on screens in late 2017
