Demonetisation affects Bollywood badly; Commando 2 release postponed

Demonetisation affects Bollywood Commando 2

Demonetisation has affected the pockets of every Indian. But it has not spared the box office collection of Bollywood releases such as Rock On 2 and Force 2 as claimed by the producers of the films. The star cast of Commando 2, Vidyut Jamwal and Adah Sharma was supposed to release on 6th January 2017. The action packed movie has now been pushed to release on 3rd March 2017.
According to actors they have worked very hard and they want success. xXx has also shifted its date to 13th January, which means Vidyuth has another movie for competition. Vidyuth think our film has a very strong content as it deals with black money and we feel that it’s not just a weekend film and hence we are moving the film to March.

Commando – A One Man Army is a 2013 Hindi action film directed by Dilip Ghosh. The film features Vidyut Jamwal as the protagonist, Pooja Chopra and Jaideep Ahlawat as main characters. Back then the film had opened to mixed reviews with major praise directed towards Jamwal’s performance and was a moderate box office success.

Although the film industry has been visibly affected by this sudden move, nevertheless personalities like Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Arjun Rampal have lauded the movement.
Last week erotic thriller Wajah Tum Ho also postponed its release date by a fortnight.
