AAP’s Vishal Dadlani compares Jain monk with ‘Monkery’
A FIR has been filed at Chembur police station against AAP leader and music director Vishal Dadlani over his insulting tweet on Jain religious leader Tarun Sagar’s address to the Haryana Assembly. Dadlani insulted millions of Jains and Hindus who respect Jain monks by comparing him with ‘monkery’. Vishal Dadlani has a history of insulting Hindus & Sikhs in the past.
The Haryana government had invited the Jain monk, who appeared in nude, to deliver a lecture ‘Kadve Vachan’ in the Assembly on Friday. A day later, Dadlani in a tweet termed Tarun Sagar’s speech as “monkery” and insulted the monk further with #NoKachcheDin (No Underwear Day). However, that particular tweet was later removed.
The esteemed Digambar Jain guru Tarun Sagar sat on a dais and spoke of the marriage between dharma and politics, terrorism and female foeticide
AAP leader’s tweet mocking the Jain monk attracted several brickbats from across the social media and political leaders.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) realising that it may lose votes in Punjab quickly tried to distance itself with Dadlani by temporarily ‘suspending’ him as he “made a mistake by offending the peaceful Jain community”.
Dadlani apparently apologised by scandalously comparing himself, a foul mouthed perpetually-drunk beef-eating pop singer, with the same Jain ascetic who respects every life.
In that, Sir, we are more alike than different. Thanks for saying this. I apologise to you again, in all humility! https://t.co/1UJIA0boup

Jain Muni Tarun Sagar was gracious enough to say there’s nothing to forgive and that ‘he (Dadlani) has a right to differ’
