Sukhbir Badal, Punjab deputy chief minister said that Kejriwal is no longer selling in Punjab and AAP is led by two failed comedians in the state.

About Navjot Sidhu joining either Congress or AAP, Sukhbir ridiculed his  canidature saying he is a comedian who got elected by mistake. He thought he won because of himself. He won because of Akali Dal support.

Sukhbir said that AAP will get less than 10 out of 117 seats, explaining “the chances of AAP and Congress can be judged from their desperate wooing of Sidhu. Kejriwal’s name is not selling and two comedians have failed, so AAP wants a maha comedian there.” Sukhbir thinks their biggest rival is Congress but the latter won’t get more than 30-35.

Badal said that SAD-BJP government has completely transformed Amritsar, investing over Rs 3,000 crore. The building façade has changed outside the temple – the entire area of 1.5 km with BRTS, roads, flyovers. He added”We have made Punjab power surplus. We’ve connected Punjab with the rest of the world with airports. We have built the best road network. Amarindar Singh or the Congress never talk about what they did in their five-year rule. Never.”

Sukhbir called his Party (SAD) as the ‘only one’ that serves and protects the interest of farmers. SAD is the only party that gives free power, water and highest compensation – Rs 8,000/acre if something happens to farmers.
